Did you see NBC Nightly News recently when they highlighted how our smart phones and tablets are tracking our every move? Here are images from my devices:
Right there on my phone is a record where I have been. Now that might be handy if I were traveling in new place and wanted to keep the addresses of friendly bistros and local museums I wanted to revisit. But for the most part I have no need to keep track of where and how often I have visited specific locations. Fortunately the folks at NBC News provide us with the directions for turning off this function on Apple and Android products. Here’s the video on YouTube.
